How you drain your Cocoon depends on whether you're using it with a Monk Shiver Pro chiller or on its own.
Draining with a Monk Shiver Pro chiller
- Turn off the chiller.
- Close the valve on the chiller's inlet (A) to stop water flowing through it while you complete the next steps.
- Attach a hose to the drain outlet on the three-way valve (B). Place the other end of the hose into a suitable drain, making sure water can drain safely away from the chiller.
- Open the valve leading to the drain hose, and close the valve leading back to the tub (C).
- Open the chiller inlet valve (A) again and turn the chiller back on. The pump will begin draining water through the drain hose.
- Important: turn the chiller off before the water level drops below the bath outlet — this prevents air entering the system. Any remaining water can be removed with a sponge.
Once the tub is drained, return the valves to their normal open positions, disconnect the drain hose, and refill the tub.
Draining without a chiller
- Extend the drain hose as needed, and open the drain valve to let water flow out of the hose and into a suitable drain.
