Caring for your Monk Cocoon

A little regular care goes a long way in keeping your Cocoon performing well and looking its best. Please note that customers using the product in commercial environments should follow the guidelines in the Monk for Business Maintenance guide.

Everyday use

• Keep the lid on whenever the tub isn't in use — it helps maintain water temperature and keeps debris out.
• When replacing the lid, align the Monk "O" on the front of the lid with the Monk "O" on the front of the tub for the best fit.
• Shower before plunging. Rinsing off sweat, oils, and lotions helps keep your water cleaner for longer.

Cleaning & care

• Before your first use, wash the tub with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a clean cloth.
• Never use bleach, chlorine, or harsh cleaners — these can damage the materials and seals.
• For regular care, we recommend a full clean and dry every month.

Storing your Cocoon

• The bath can stay full as long as the ambient temperature stays above freezing. If it drops below 1°C, drain the bath to prevent freezing and expansion damage.
• After draining, wipe the tub dry with a clean towel to avoid mould or mildew.
• Leave the lid slightly open to allow air into the bath cavity.
• Store in a dry location, out of direct sunlight.
